What is full text and full image?

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text.
Some databases, like SIRS and ProQuest, provide entire articles online.  Sometimes the images are included.

What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see?

To find pictures originally published with the article, you usually need to get the print copy from the library. There are a few databases, however, that provide full image (also called full content.)

Full image is the electronic version of all the entire article including graphs, charts, pictures and text.
