News: Explore The Topic Of Women In Combat With Film Lioness On Nov. 10

Pasadena City College will be screening the film Lioness on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Creveling Lounge (Room 201 of the Campus Center). The screening will be followed by a panel discussion led by Major Barbara Haines on women's roles in the military.

Directed by Meg McLagan and Daria Sommers, Lioness tells the story of a group of female Army support soldiers who were part of the first program in American history to send women into direct ground combat. Following the thought-provoking documentary, a panel of female PCC students who have recently returned from combat will discuss their experiences.
