PCC in the News News: PCC Honors Women in the Military with Exhibit and Film Screening
The Pasadena City College Veterans Resource Center and the Shatford Library are proud to present a new display in the Library rotunda titled “Women in the Military” from March 11 to 29. The display will showcase women in the PCC family that have served or are still active in the military. Additionally, the documentary “Women of the Military” will be screened on March 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Creveling Lounge. Produced and directed by W.J. Parolini, “Women of the Military” features Kate Hoit, a soldier who comes home from Iraq to discover that America has a distorted view of women in the military. The documentary tells the truth of what it’s really like to be a woman in today’s armed forces.
