News: Pasadena City College Foundation To Award $59,000 in Grant Awards for Academic Excellence & Innovation

For more than 30 years, the Board of Directors of the PCC Foundation has proudly supported creative, and unique projects at PCC through their annual grants program. The PCC Foundation Grants are awarded for projects that work toward the improvement of the instructional process, foster innovation in instruction, and align with the Mission Critical Priorities of the college’s
Educational Master Plan. To that end, the Foundation will award $59,000 in grants for innovation and academic excellence to members of the PCC faculty and staff on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 5pm.

Why: The mission of the Pasadena City College Foundation is to assist the College in achieving successful student learning. The Foundation supports the efforts of the College to provide highquality,academically rigorous instruction in a comprehensive transfer and vocational curriculum, as well as learning activities designed to improve the economic condition and quality of life of the diverse communities within the College service area.
