News: Pasadena City College Presents Actors Waiting On Tables

Join a group of aspiring actors as they look for their big break while working in food service as Pasadena City College presents “Actors Waiting…On Tables,” beginning Feb. 2 in PCC’s Little Theater (C106).

Directed by Duke Stroud and Whitney Rydbeck, the comedy follows the lives of part-time actors who work at a local eatery as they cope with agents, auditions, and the madness of the theater world, while recommending the special of the day.

“This is a really funny night out,” Stroud said. ” The joke is that if you’re a waiter, you’re an actor and vice-versa.”

“Actors Waiting…on Tables” is offered Feb. 2 – 4. Performances begin at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. afternoon matinee offered Saturday, Feb. 4.

Tickets are $5 and parking is available in any student lot with the purchase of a daily parking pass for $2.
