PCC in the News News: PCC Architecture Students to Participate in 2x8 Exhibition at A+D MuseumPasadena City College architecture students have been selected to participate in “2x8,” an annual exhibition sponsored by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) that showcases exemplary student work from architecture and design institutions throughout California. The exhibition will open with an opening reception on June 5 at 6 p.m. at the A+D Museum in Los Angeles. “About 10 years ago, the AIA came up with the idea for the “2x8” scholarship exhibition to link emerging talent into the professional world,” explained Coleman Griffith, PCC Architecture Department coordinator. “In recognition of the contribution and success of the PCC Architecture Department to architectural education and the profession, the AIA invited our program as the first community college program in California to be part of this prestigious event in 2003.”
