News: Paying for Daily Parking with Credit and Shuttle Services Continue
After months of planning and testing, all 41 of the parking permit machines on Pasadena City College’s main campus and the Community Education Center (CEC) are now accepting credit cards. This will allow students, staff, and guests the option of paying their $2 daily parking permit fee with cash or credit card.
Additionally, fall semester parking permits for staff/students will available July 30th for purchase online (http:www.pasadena.edu/getparking/), or in person starting August 6th at the front counter of Police and Safety Services (main campus, Room B210). For students only, a limited supply of parking permits will be sold at the 411 Trolley located in the quad of the main campus on the following days: August 24 from 8:30 am -11:30 am; and August 27-28 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.
For students taking public transportation to campus, a free shuttle service is available for students traveling between the CEC, the Allen Avenue Metro Gold Line Station, and the PCC main campus. The shuttle service operates between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 10:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The shuttle is not available on Fridays due to the summer campus closures. The shuttle departs every 15 to 30 minutes from each location.
The main campus shuttle stop is located on the northeast side of the campus between lots 6 and 7. The Community Education Center shuttle stop is located in Lot C at the north end. The shuttle can be met curbside at the Allen Avenue Metro Gold Line Station.
