News: PCC Book Club to Meet at Mothers Club Nov. 8

The Pasadena City College Book Club invites the community to join in a discussion of Systematic Training for Effective Parenting of Children Under Six (STEP), a popular guide by Don Dinkmeyer, Gary D. McKay, James Dinkmeyer, Don Dinkmeyer Jr., and Joyce McKay. The book gives parents the tools to tackle the special challenges of parenting infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The meeting will take place on Nov. 8, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Mother’s Club (980 N. Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena).

This is a unique opportunity for all members of the parent education community, teachers, assistants, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and caregivers to meet outside of the classroom and engage in meaningful conversation about child rearing.
