News: Screening of documentary Rushing Waters, Rising Dreams Nov. 1 in PCCs Sexson Auditorium

Pasadena City College is pleased to screen Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural’s documentary “Rushing Waters, Rising Dreams” on Thursday, Nov. 1 at noon in Sexson Auditorium.

There will be a panel discussion after the screening with filmmaker John Cantu and co-producers Trini and Luis Rodriguez. The trio will discuss how the arts can transform communities, the central theme to the film.

Sponsored by the College Diversity Initiative, Student Services Fund, and College One, this event is free and open to the public. The companion book to the documentary, written by Rodriguez, is available in the PCC Bookstore.
