WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE ON A CLASS WAITLIST
Students who are on a waitlist, please check for new classes regularly as we are adding new sections often. We also have several on-line classes starting March 17, 2014. It is recommended that you check classes throughout the day as we are committed to getting you the classes you need. Please remember to remove yourself from the waitlist prior to reregistering for a like class. The website is a great resource to learn about new open classes. There are still plenty of open seats available, so check now!
TRANSCRIPT PROCESSING DELAYS
The College is experiencing delays in transcript processing. Processing time for a regular request is a maximum of 10 – 14 business days and a rush request is a maximum of 7-10 business days. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. If you have any questions please contact us at email@example.com
ADMISSION AND RECORDS PROCESSING
Due to the peak processing period and spring registration, the Admission and Records Office will not be able to answer your questions via phone. If you have any question please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will return your email within 72 hours.
YOU WILL NOT BE DROPPED FROM CLASS FOR NON-PAYMENT
Students who were scheduled to be dropped for non-payment were not dropped from their classes. However, if you are not planning to take your scheduled classes you must drop these classes. In addition, in order to register for summer courses you must pay your spring debt by the first day to register for summer, April 11, 2014.
HOW DO I GET MY METRO/ITAP PASS?
Purchase at the Student Bank by showing that you are enrolled in 12 units. Cash and credit accepted. $5.00 for card and $30.00 for Metro Pass. It’s a great deal but you may have to wait in line as these transactions cannot be done online. To avoid the lines, try late in the afternoon.
REPRIEVE FOR STUDENTS ON ACADEMIC AND PROGRESS DISMISSAL
Students who were scheduled for Academic and Progress Dismissal for spring were not processed to be dismissed. The college is offering a second chance option for those who are in the Academic and Progress Dismissal stage. If this applies to you, you must see a Counselor regarding your status.
DEBUT OF PCC WEEKEND AND ONLINE COLLEGE, FEBRUARY 8TH.
ONLINE CLASSES START MARCH 17
Weekend College is designed for the busy student who wants to earn the degree and transfer in a quick, convenient way. The Saturday and Sunday offerings in the late start 12-week Weekend College schedule begin February 8th and are high-demand general education courses plus the classes needed for three degrees (Psychology, History, and Business Administration) and one CTE certificate (Paralegal Assistant Certificate). Online College courses come in a variety of term lengths (16-week, 8-week, etc.) and are a fantastic option for thebusy student looking for convenience, flexibility, and high-quality courses. Many 8-week courses start March 17th. There are thousands of available seats in these high-demand general education courses!
