Emergency Text Message Alert System

Pasadena City College offers an emergency alerting system using SMS messaging (text/short messaging service). Text messages are sent to a subscriber’s mobile devices communicating critical campus updates in real-time to students, staff and faculty.  AlertU is only used in emergency situations, and will not be used for non-emergency information or general updates as actual emergency messaging can lose effectiveness.  Subscription to the AlertU system does not expire and standard message and data rates may apply.

Sign up by texting PCC to 253788 (ALERTU) and reply to the confirming text message with a Y or visit https://www.alertu.org/pcc and enter your mobile number & email address.

Unsubscribe by texting STOP or UNSUB to 253788 (ALERTU).

For support text HELP to 253788 (ALERTU) or email support@alertu.org

Supported Carriers for the AlertU service are: AT&T, Alltel, Boost, CellularOne, NEXTEL, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless.
