What is "Livescan" and how can I have it done, because my employer
requires I be fingerprinted.
- "Livescan" is obtaining fingerprints electronically and submitting
the fingerprints to the Department of Justice electronically.
- Obtain a "Livescan" form from your employer and bring it with
you to campus police. Also bring a valid form of photo identification.
- Fingerprinting is completed electronically.
- Fees are a minimum of $20.00, maximum
$104.00.
The fee may vary depending on type fingerprint clearance requested
by the employer.
- Payments can be made with exact cash, checks
or money orders only.
- Generally, it takes five days or less for employers to get the
results back.
