PCC's Public Relations Office produces communications materials for both on and off-campus audiences.
To inform the community about PCC’s quality educational programs, the Public Relations Office sends news releases to local, national and international media. The area incoroprates 21st century communication techniques as well and employs social networking mediums, viewbooks, and blogs. These announcements help publicize campus events, support enrollment needs and relate interesting stories about our students and staff.
December 3, 2013 - The Pasadena Area Community College District has reviewed the proposed decision of the state Public Employee Relations Board (PERB) administrative law judge on the issue of the PCC academic calendar. The PACCD expresses its strong disagreement with the proposed decision as wrongly decided and insupportable. The Pasadena City College women's volleyball team figured out how to channel its frustration from losing the South Coast Conference title last week. On Tuesday night, the Lancers, seeded No. 12, traveled to San Diego Mesa to take on the state's No. 5-ranked and region No. 5 seeded Olympians.
