PCC's Public Relations Office produces communications materials for both on and off-campus audiences.

To inform the community about PCC’s quality educational programs, the Public Relations Office sends news releases to local, national and international media. The area incoroprates 21st century communication techniques as well and employs social networking mediums, viewbooks, and blogs. These announcements help publicize campus events, support enrollment needs and relate interesting stories about our students and staff.

His videos on culture, technology, education and information have been viewed by millions, translated in more than 15 languages and are frequently featured at international film festivals and major academic conferences worldwide.

Calendar Committee Meeting

Pasadena, Calif., - The calendar committee will meet Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 12pm in the 'C' building, room 217.  Members of the public may request the opportunity to address the committee regarding an item on the agenda. Individual speakers are limited to three minutes; total audience participation on any agenda item is limited to fifteen minutes.

President Mark Rocha To Appear on National Webcast Panel on the Challenges Facing Public Education Today

Pasadena, Calif., - Pasadena City College (PCC) in conjunction with the producers of the award winning documentary, “GO PUBLIC: A Day in the Life of an American School District”, is hosting a national webcast on April 30th from 6:00 PM Pacific Time, focusing on the challenges facing public education across the nation.

In studio guests include: Dr. Mark Rocha, Superintendent/President of Pasadena City College, Jon Gundry, Superintendent of the Pasadena Unified School District, William Wong, Gabrielino High SchoolMath Teacher and President of the San Gabriel Teachers Union and Dr. Mikala Rahn, CEO of Learning Works Charter School and a Pasadena Unified School Board Member.

Women's Swimming Sets 6 SCC Records At Conference Finals

The Pasadena City College duo of sophomore Shannon Cheung and freshman Connie Peng raised the bar for Lancers women's swimming with their overall performance at the South Coast Conference Championships held April 17-19 at Mt. San Antonio College. Overall, the team smashed six conference records and 11 school records.
