CIS 10 INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS 5 Units

Foundation course for business/computer information systems majors. Information and computer literacy concepts that include: hardware and components, system and application software, programming principles, applications of information technology and ethics. Exposure to word processing, presentation, and database software. Use of spreadsheets. Information systems development. Usage of the Internet, especially as a research tool.
