Functions, relations and graphs; inverse functions; inequalities; theory of equations; introduction to matrices; determinants; binomial theorem; sequences and series; permutations and combinations; probability. For mathematics and science majors, but open to all qualified students. Total of 90 hours lecture. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC credit limitations. See counselor. Grading: Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass
