Survey of emerging regional cultures from the earliest civilizations to 1500. Focus on cultural evolutionary parallels, and the diffusion of ideas through migration and trade on a global scale. Total of 54 hours lecture.Transfer Credit: CSU; UC Grading: Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass
