Interdisciplinary Course: Engineering, Engineering Design Technology Introduction to engineering and technical drawings through the use of sketching, computer-aided drafting (CAD) and dimensioning. Techniques covered include geometric construction, orthographic projection, pictorial methods, section and auxiliary views, basic descriptive geometry, 2D CAD, and 3D CAD parametric solid modeling. May not be taken concurrently with or after EDT 8A or DRFTG 8A. Recommended MATH 402 or MATH 400B. Total of 27 hours lecture and 81 hours laboratory.
