EDT 8A ENGINEERING GRAPHICS 3 Units

Prerequisite(s): None.
Interdisciplinary Course: Engineering Design Technology, Engineering. Introduction to engineering and technical drawings through the use of sketching, computer-aided drafting (CAD) and dimensioning. Techniques covered include geometric construction, orthographic projection, pictorial methods, section and auxiliary views, basic descriptive geometry, 2D CAD, and 3D CAD parametric solid modeling. May not be taken concurrently with or after ENGR 2. Total of 27 hours lecture and 81 hours laboratory. Recommended MATH 402 or MATH 400B. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC Grading: Letter Grade Only

EDT 220 CAD TECHNICIAN INTERNSHIP 2 Units

Prerequisite(s): EDT 140, EDT 150, and EDT 8B and maintain enrollment in 7 units or more including internship.
Supervised, practical experience in an industry related professional environment. Maximum credit 4 units, 2 units each semester. Pass/no pass grading. Total of 108 hours field practice. Grading: Pass/No Pass Only
