Prerequisite(s): State of California Cosmetology License.
Course is designed for licensed cosmetologists who want to become cosmetology instructors. Introduces principles of learning, effective teaching methods and techniques, classroom management, and organizational skills. Emphasis is placed on planning, presenting, and evaluating lessons in both the classroom and clinic/laboratory setting. Total of 90 hours lecture and 240 hours laboratory. Grading: Letter Grade Only
