THART 1 INTRODUCTION TO THEATER 3 Units

Introduction to theatre as an art form through exploration of theatre in production, with an emphasis on the collaborative role of theatre artists and the active role of the audience. Understanding of, and access to, live theatrical events and enhanced appreciation of their value to society; development of critical skills through consideration of representative examples of theatrical productions from numerous genres and time periods.
