Recommended Preparation: GRCOM 199.
Introduction to methods used to prepare electronic files for screen printing applications. File preparation and management, problem-solving techniques, font and color management, production methods. Exposure to current hardware options and software applications used in the screen printing and graphic communications industry. Planning, resolution, proofing, digital imaging, and final film production techniques. Maximum credit 2 units, 1 unit each semester. Required instructional trips. Total of 18 hours lecture and 36 hours laboratory. Grading: Letter Grade Only
