MA 111B MEDICAL OFFICE PROCEDURES II 4 Units

Prerequisite(s): MA 111A.
Patient processing. Medical records maintenance. Written and oral communication. Patient instruction. Processing mail. Banking. Financial procedures including professional fees, billing, and collections. Meeting arrangements and travel itinerary. Marketing. Legal implications of medical practice. Total of 54 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory. Grading: Letter Grade Only
