Distance and angle measurements, stadia surveys, leveling and traversing using optical instruments, electronic Distance Measuring (EDM) instruments and Total Stations. Field methods, note keeping, and determination of errors in measurements. Determination of azimuths and bearing, topographic mapping. Computer solutions of survey problems.
