Prerequisite(s): One of the following: (1) Engl 100; (2) ESL 33B; (3) placement based on the English assessment process.
Corequisite(s): Engl 900.
Development of expository and argumentative essays. Instruction in writing annotated papers. Analysis of various forms of writing with emphasis on expository and argumentative essays.
