The second course in a 3 course sequence for Biology majors (Biol 1ABC). The degree of rigor and amount of independent learning required are designed to meet the preparation needs of students transferring to upper division biology study. Investigates the basic principles of cell biology, describes and explores patterns of heredity including Mendelian genetics and linkage analysis, studies organismal physiology through investigations of plant and animal form and function.
