Emphasis on child centered, play-oriented approaches to teaching, learning and assessment; and knowledge of curriculum content areas as student teachers design, implement and evaluate experiences that promote positive development and learning for young children. Section No. 5844 require 270 hours (approximately 17 hours per week) of on-site supervised field experience.
