Chuck Ward (Counseling) discusses learning styles and how to design teaching experiences for all learning styles.

Not Reinventing the Wheel: Using Rubrics with your Current Evaluation Methods" November 30, 12noon-1pm in C217.
Karen Carlisi and Crystal Kolross will discuss the role of rubrics in the evaluation stage of the SLO cycle. Emphasis will be placed on
creating rubrics to assess SLOs without necessarily changing current evaluation methods. Link to presentation

Ann Davis and Jay Cho (Math Division) discussed the process of development of SLOs and the use of rubrics to assess them for Math 402 (Pre Algebra).  Link to presentation.

"Rubrics in the SLO Cycle" November 22, 2005

Karen Carlisi (Writing Across the Curriculum Project Coordinator and ESL instructor) discussed concerns, controversies, and conundrums expressed in the PCC SLO survey.  Parallels and distinctions between TMOs and SLOs were addressed.
