Who is eligible for EOP&S?

In order for a student to be considered eligible for EOP&S the following criteria applies:

  1. Must be a resident of California
  2. Qualify for a Board of Governors Grant (BOGG) A or B (fee waiver)
  3. Must be educationally disadvantaged:
    • Not recommended to enroll in degree applicable English or Math classes
    • Does not have a high school diploma or GED,   
    • High School G.P.A. below 2.5 or,  
    • Previously enrolled in remedial English or Math classes
  4. Be enrolled full-time (12 units)*
  5. Must not have completed more than 70 units of college course work

How do I apply?

  1. Complete and submit an Adobe Acrobat is needed to view this document. EOP&S application to the EOP&S office in L-107.
  2. Apply for admission to PCC (applications available in Admissions and EOP&S).
  3. Apply for a Board of Govenor's Grant fee waiver (applications available in EOP&S, to be submitted at Financial Aid, L114).
  4. Complete and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

* A limited number of students my be admitted to EOP&S if enrolled in at least 9 units.
