Chemistry/CCDT Placement Exam Information

Testing available on a walk-in basis (First-Come First Served)
The California Chemistry Diagnostic Test (CCDT) is designed for student
placement into Chemistry 1A. The exam is paper/pencil, multiple-choice
and is timed: 45 minutes to complete 44 questions. Scratch paper, a periodic table and a basic calculator will be provided.
- The exam consists of questions relating to compounds/elements, states
of matter, reactions of matter, structure of matter, periodic properties,
solutions, chemical dynamics, laboratory skills, and mathematics.
