• Open to all levels
• Minimum GPA 2.0 (unless otherwise stated)

Requirements

1. General Scholarship Application and supporting documents submitted by Friday, February 20, 2009.
2. Curriculum Vitae- a list of honors, awards, campus involvement, community service.
3. One-page personal essay in which you discuss your academic goals and career aspirations. Please address any social, educational, or economic hardships that you have experienced.
4. Two letters of recommendation. One must be from an instructor. The second recommendation may be from any of the following: instructor, guidance counselor, community leader, church leader, and/or immediate supervisor.
5. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for need-based scholarships. File on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov or follow mailing instructions.
6. Please write your name and social security number or your PCC Lancer ID number on all documents submitted.

All materials must be postmarked by Friday, February 20, 2009 and mailed/delivered to:

Note: It is your responsibility to verify the completeness of your application and submit it to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid by the deadline. Incomplete applications WILL NOT be considered.

Notification

Applicants will be notified by mail in May 2009.

Scholarship Fund Association Award Reception

General scholarship winners will receive scholastic recognition at the Spring Scholarship Reception.
