Trio Programs

The general purpose of Upward Bound is to generate excitement for success in education among high school scholars who come from a low economic status family, or whose parents did not graduate from a four-year college.

Upward Bound Classic

UPWARD BOUND is a pre-college program funded by the U.S.Department of Education.It is designed to encourage students from low income families and whose parents did not graduate from a four-year college to develop the skills and motivation necessary for success in college and beyond.

Upward Bound Math/Science

UPWARD BOUND M/S at PCC will enrich the background of participating scholars and their parents by emphasizing math and science enterprises. Math/Science Upward Bound provides supplemental academic support the Upward Bound Program to help prepare participating scholars for college.
