Summer Intersession Information

Pasadena City College is one of a dwindling number of California Community Colleges that continue to offer Summer Intersession courses to help students achieve their transfer and completion goals.

Unfortunately, the severe budget cuts from Sacramento have severely restricted the number of credit summer classes that PCC can offer this year as compared to last:

• 2011 Summer Intersession: 367 sections and 6,213 enrollments (seats)
• 2012 Summer Intersession: 194 sections and 4,297 enrollments (seats)

The demand for courses remains high, and after 10 days of registration, PCC's Summer Intersession is more than 90 percent full.

Despite the reduced budget support of community colleges by the state, PCC is committed to helping students achieve their completion goals.

Summer Intersession begins June 25th.
