Important Filing Dates and Deadlines

Transfer Information Fairs

Day and evening information fairs expose students to various academic programs and to the institutions offering them. These events provide students the opportunity to meet with admission and outreach staff and departmental representatives.

Transfer Advisement and University Representative Visits

Transfer Advisement is provided by representatives from CSU, UC and independent colleges and universities. Appointments are available throughtout the year. Representative schedules are listed in the Transfer Directions.

Transfer Workshops

Group workshops for students on selected topics critical to the transfer process are conducted by PCC staff and personnel from four-year institutions. Topics include "How To Select A College," "Filing Applications To CSU, UC, and USC," and "Financial Aid". Most workshops are offered during the day though some evening ones are also held. Several transfer-related videotapes are available for viewing and are often aired during the semester to increase transfer awareness.

University and College Tours

Campus tours to local four-year universities help students in selecting a campus that is appropriate to his/her individual needs. Students are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the campus through an orientation session, walking tour, and "free time" where they explore their own transfer interests. Transportation is provided free of charge. Space is limited and reservations are made in the Transfer Center.

No tours to local campuses are scheduled at this time.
