Summer Bridge

Each .XL Program includes a summer component to help students transition smoothly from high school to college. .XL students:

• immerse themselves in math, reading, and writing
• acquire leadership, study, and technology skills
• learn about the campus and its resources
• create a community of support with their classmates and instructors

First-Year Experience

In fall and spring, .XL students

• take English, math, and general education courses with their summer bridge classmates
• continue to develop their study skills
• enjoy the full benefits of the Teaching and Learning Center's resources, including counseling, tutoring, and technology support.
