All courses are free to students interested in taking Math Basics, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B, and Geometry classes. Courses will be offered at the Community Education Center add 3035 E Foothill Blvd, Pasadena. 

Math Basics

Master basic arithmetic skills and operations with integers, fractions, decimals, and percentages; solve word problems


Pre-Algebra

Structure and concepts of Algebra, including variables, expressions, equations, absolute value, inequalities, and properties of real numbers; and the techniques of Algebra, including solving equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations, and solving word problems.


Algebra 1A

Study of the language, concepts, and techniques of algebra, including integers, exponents, radicals, order of operation, scientific notation, linear equations, inequalities, and evaluate multiple variables.


Algebra 1B

Study of the language, concepts, and techniques of algebra, linear equations, inequalities, relationship of functions, polynomials, and quadratic equations.


Geometry

Study of the Pythagorean Theorem, right triangle, two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects, and circles.
