Radiologic technologists are the medical personnel who perform diagnostic imaging examinations and administer radiation therapy treatments. To be work in the field, you need knowledge and training in anatomy, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols, radiation safety, radiation protection and basic patient care.

   1. Students will evaluate career opportunities and advancement for the radiographer
   2. Students will demonstrate professionalism with patients, self, and others

   3. Students will create a professional portfolio that illustrates growth with their careers

The Radiologic Technology Program will evaluate and monitor program effectiveness through the measurement of graduate success rates, job placement rates, annual program completion rates, and graduate and employer satisfaction surveys. Accreditation Information

The Pasadena City College Radiologic Technology Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The program has an 8-year accreditation.  The PCC Radiologic Technology Program will have a JRCERT site visit in 2022.  Pasadena City College is regionally accredited through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.  Effectiveness data is available on the Pasadena City College, Radiologic Technology Program website & JRCERT website.
