News: PCC Extension Wins International Award for Marketing Materials

Pasadena City College Extension was recently honored for excellence in brochure design by the Learning Resources Network (LERN), an international association that focuses on lifelong learning, for excellence in brochure design.

The program’s marketing materials were selected from a field of more than 100 entries from four countries. The entries were judged on originality, innovation, appropriateness and adaptability as a model for other programs, and measurable outcomes.

Julie Coates, Vice President of Information Services for LERN, said this year’s award nominees were among the highest quality ever submitted.

PCC Extension supports and promotes lifelong learning by providing educational experiences through an array of courses, programs, and workshops designed to enrich learning, build careers, and transform lives. PCC Extension publishes four catalogs annually, and maintains a corresponding website. It registers approximately 12,000 students each year. Classes are held at the college and in several locations within the community.
