News: Dont Shoot The Soprano: One Act Operas Comes to PCC's Sexson Auditorium

The community is invited to attend ““Don’t Shoot The Soprano: One Act Operas,” a production of the Pasadena City College Opera program and the Performing and Communication Arts Division, from June 1-3.

Directed by PCC instructor Anne Marie Ketchum, the show will feature “Hin und Zurück,” by Paul Hindemith, “The Face on the Barroom Floor,” by Henry Mollicone, and “The Old Man and the Thief,” by Giancarlo Menotti.

The June 1 showing begins at 8 p.m., while June 2 offers a 2 p.m. matinee and an 8 p.m. showing. The June 3 showing features a 4 p.m. matinee only. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students and seniors, and $25 for the reserved section and will be sold at the door starting at 7 p.m. The box office accepts cash or checks only. Parking is available in any student lot for $2. Parking permits are available in lot vending machines.
