News: Pasadena City College Offers Theatre in London Tour May 2013

Be part of Pasadena City College’s wildly successful Theatre in London program by spending spring in the birthplace of The Bard as PCC invites you to experience London at its finest from May 3-12. Spend eight days at the four-star Thistle Bloomsbury Hotel (just blocks of the famous West End Theatre District), see four plays, visit Cambridge, and receive a tour of the National Theatre.  

PCC students and community members are invited to join PCC English Division Dean Amy Ulmer and associate professor Joseph Sierra on a weeklong tour of the dramatic arts. Free time will be available to explore London at your leisure. Visit the world-renowned British Museum, the British Library, Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, the Tate Gallery, the National Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Covent Garden, Harrods, pubs, and fabulous food and shopping.

The program will include four plays, a guided tour of the National Theatre in London, and a day trip to Cambridge. The cost is $3,300 per person based on double occupancy and includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles to London on Air New Zealand, group airport transfers in London, daily breakfast, and London transportation pass. Single supplement is $870. The price excludes PCC course fees.
