Freshman Phillip Perez was the Pasadena City College baseball team's lone selection to the 2013 All-South Coast Conference Second Team at the designated hitter slot. Perez, who also played some right field and first base for the Lancers, batted .300 in 16 conference games with three doubles and three RBI.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Perez came to PCC from Cathedral High in Los Angeles. He batted .262 overall.

Sophomore first baseman David Halstead, who led PCC with a .282 overall batting average, and other team bests in home runs (two), triples (two), hits (31), and on-base percentage (.389), was chosen All-SCC Honorable Mention. Also picking up conference HMs were freshman catcher Corey Richards (.263, nine runners thrown out stealing) and freshman knuckleball pitcher Tim Shiba (70 innings, one win, one save, and team best 5.14 ERA).

Halstead is from Eagle Rock High, Richards from South Pasadena High, and Shiba attended Cathedral.

The Lancers were guided by head coach Evan O'Meara.
