News: PCC's Lacey Earns SoCal Softball Player of the Week Honors


Pasadena City College softball team catcher Allison Lacey was named the California Community Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (3CFCA) Southern California Player of the Week for March 3-9.

In six games that week, Lacey batted 12-for-20 (.600) with a double, a triple, 6 runs scored, two stolen bases, and an impressive 11 RBI. She helped the Lancers to four wins, including the consolation title at the Golden West Tournament where she drove in 10 runs in four games and hit .750 (9-for-12). A sophomore, Lacey is from Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta.

She is the first Lancer to receive the honor. Lacey plays for first-year head coach Monica Tantlinger.
