Instructions for Completing Online Orientation

New Student Orientation familiarizes and acquaints students with important college policies, expectations, and the range of services and programs available.

Please complete your online Orientation prior to taking your placement tests. If you do not need to take placement tests, please complete the online orientation prior to Counseling.

We will check our system to ensure you have completed the online orientation. Please note: the online Orientation takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.

IMPORTANT!   To start the orientation, go to the small window to the LEFT of the video and choose "Click for Online Orientation" to start.  If the videos do not play, you can also try playing them directly on YouTube at:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kzQMKBSv-18 .

DON'T WORRY!  If you still cannot play the videos, just follow the text portions of the orientation, go to each section, then take the final quiz.  

If you need help with logging in, or get a message that your ID number does not match your name, please send an email to:  ntmartinez@pasadena.edu and include this information:  your issue, your name, ID number, and what kind of browser you have.  

If you have any problems starting the Orientation check the following:

  1. Make sure the security settings on your browser are not set higher than medium or to allow cookies from this site.
    1. For PC users:
      Go to Tools » Internet Options » Privacy
    2. For MAC users:
      Go to Browser » Preferences » Security
  2. Turn off any pop up blockers or allow pop-ups from this site.
