The Parent Education department has been serving the needs of Altadena, Arcadia, Pasadena, South Pasadena and Temple City for the past 79 years by creating a stimulating environment for parents and children's optimal growth and development in order to support the valuable role families play in establishing the foundation of their children's lives. These classes have traditionally met for 3 semesters; however, due to budgetary constraints the summer semester has been cut in order to reduce expenses. This fund ensures these essential classes that are in high demand will continue to be offered without a four month interruption. Help save the summer semester and invest in families by donating to Parent Education.
Pasadena City College has a cooperative partnership with the Pasadena Public Library, and the Pasadena Museum of History as well as other community partners to discover and illuminate Pasadena's rich historical heritage. We assemble, digitize and make historical documents and artifacts that represent Pasadena's heritage web-accessible for the benefit of both the local community and researchers world-wide.
