What is GoPass?
GoPass is a program for eligible students to receive a transit pass that allows unlimited rides on LA Metro buses, trains, and several local transit systems across LA County without any additional out-of-pocket fares. Service areas include: LA Metro, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Foothill, Gardena, Long Beach, Montebello, Norwalk, and Torrance.
Why is this fee important?
- Previously, the U-Pass was funded by COVID-19 finance relief grants. This money has since run out.
- Without this Transportation Fee, students will have to pay standard LA Metro fees.
How will this money be used?
To fund free transportation for all students in addition to student-led transportation initiatives.
What can you do?
During the elections on May 13th-14th, vote YES to ensure students continue receiving free transportation!
