Pasadena City College is committed to providing exceptional academic programs, an equity-minded learning community, a campus environment where students are fully engaged in the learning process, and customized student support to meet students where they are.

PCC's Strategic Plan serves as the primary document to guide planning, decision-making, and resource allocation. Derived from our Mission and aligned with the statewide Vision Goals, PCC’s Strategic Plan drives our transformation into an equity-minded learning community that is closing achievement gaps for all our students.

Through the strategies developed for the following three goals aligned with the Chancellor's Office Vision 2030, the college has committed itself to putting students first and at the center of every decision made.

  1. Equity in Success
  2. Equity in Access
  3. Equity in Support

The Strategic Plan was developed with the guidance of the College’s Strategic Planning Standing Committee and developed through a process that brings together all constituent groups of the college: faculty, staff, students, managers, executive leaders, and community members. It has been shared widely over 12 months in campus Town Halls, shared governance meetings, advisory committee meetings and with the Board of Trustees.

It is the document that will guide the college into the future.
