As a student at Pasadena City College, you have the opportunity to apply to PCC's College Corps Program, a #CaliforniansForAll College Corps affiliate program.

This program is designed to support regional fire recovery efforts while providing students with meaningful, community-centered service opportunities and transformative leadership development experiences. As part of the program, 20 dedicated PCC students will be selected for 8-month, paid fellowships at 15 local host organizations.

Applications for the 2025–26 College Corps Program will open on July 23, 2025. The deadline to apply is August 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (PST).

PCC students may apply to a maximum of two fellowship positions for the 2025–26 College Corps Program.

All fellowship position descriptions are available within the application form. Please review them carefully before making your selections.

Fellowships will span 8 months, beginning in September 2025 and concluding in May 2026. While exact schedules will be determined by each host organization, fellows should expect to commit approximately 12–15 hours per week during the fellowship period.

In addition to their work with host organizations, fellows will participate in a Student Leadership Institute at PCC. Sessions will be held once per month on the following dates and times:

  • September 20, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • October 17, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • November 14, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • December 16, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • February 20, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • March 20, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • April 10, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Student fellows will receive up to $10,000 in compensation through a biweekly stipend disbursement schedule. Students will be compensated at approximately $25 an hour for a maximum of 400 hours.

Undocumented and International students (if selected) will be eligible for a scholarship of up to $10,000, based on unmet financial need.

PCC students who meet the program requirements will have the opportunity to submit an application during the application cycle of July 23 - August 10, 2025. No application deadlines will be granted.

The College Corps Program Committee will review applications between August 11-22, 2025.

Selected candidates will be invited to interview the week of September 1-4, 2025. Final hiring decisions will be made by September 8, 2025.

Selected fellows will attend a mandatory orientation on September 20, 2025 and begin their fellowship hours on or after October 6, 2025.

To be eligible for the PCC College Corps Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a currently enrolled student at Pasadena City College in fall 2025 and spring 2026.
  • Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to commit to the full 8-month duration of the program, including the 400-hour commitment and the required sessions for the Student Leadership Institute.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to participate in hands-on and community-driven service.
  • Undocumented and International students are eligible to apply for this program.

Student fellows may also enroll in a 3-unit Work Experience course (WEXP 001) in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 to earn transferable CSU academic credit for hours completed through the program.
