The mission of the Dream Resource Center (DRC) at Pasadena City College is to empower and uplift undocumented students by providing comprehensive and holistic resources that foster academic success, well-being, and a sense of belonging. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive, fulfill their potential, and achieve their dreams, regardless of their immigration status. The DRC opened in January 2023 after the expansion of the former dual-resource center, the QUEST Center, into two distinct spaces: Pride Center and Dream Resource Center. We are committed to making both spaces welcoming and inclusive for all who seek refuge and support. The centers represent the long-standing work and advocacy of the Safe Zone Coalition, Safe Learning Environment Ad-Hoc Committee, and countless faculty, staff, and manager allies past and present at Pasadena City College who advocated for this space and made it a reality. We honor the history that we have created together and look forward to the new memories and connections that we will make in our new space, the Dream Resource Center.
