Faculty Facilitator Learning Community 2025-26

Elevate your facilitation skills! Within a supportive and collaborative learning community, hone your skills in designing and leading engaging, inclusive learning experiences for both students and colleagues as part of the Facilitator Learning Community.

Participants will:

  • Build relationships and community at PCC, expanding their personal and professional support network,
  • Build knowledge about and experience in backwards designing professional learning for other professionals,
  • Build knowledge about facilitation, which includes understanding how learning happens,
  • Participate in and practice facilitating productive and inclusive discussion and reflection.

Who can apply?

  • All faculty members (full-time and part-time) are eligible to apply; faculty who are working towards tenure will be given priority.
  • Participants must be committed to actively engaging in this learning community with the goals of building their reflective practice as educators.

Compensation

  • $1500 Stipend upon completion of learning community deliverables.

Deliverables

  • Participation in workshops (in-person and zoom) and asynchronous assignments in Canvas
  • Teach Back Project: Independently or with a partner, design and facilitate a 75 minute workshop for our Spring Conference on May 22nd, 2026.
  • Participate in surveys and reflections related to evaluation activities
