Immunizations/Vaccines are important for:

  • Preventing communicable diseases
  • Preventing life-threatening illness
  • Avoiding long absences from school due to quarantine and illness
  • Personal health and safety
  • Transferring to most colleges and universities
  • While immunizations are not required at PCC, we highly recommend the ones listed below in preparation for your arrival at PCC

Please have copies of your childhood immunization records available, if they are in a non-English language it is recommended to have a notarized translation made of the document(s). If unable to obtain proof of vaccinations, you can obtain vaccines or blood titer tests that can show immunity at PCC Student Health Services.

Immunizations/Vaccines & TB clearance that will be required at universities are:

MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Must have 2 doses with the first dose being on or after your first birthday or Blood titer tests that show immunity

Meningococcal

Meningitis Vaccine MCV4 is required for all students 21 years or younger
