The Distance Education Department is an instructional unit that reports to the Senior Vice President and Assistance Superintendent of Academic and Student Affairs. At present, DE administration, faculty, and staff are actively involved in shared governance and participate in the following committees:

• Curriculum & Instruction Committee
  • Curriculum & Instruction Technical Review Subcommittee
• Program Review Committee (PRC)
• Academic Senate Committees:
  • Faculty Committee on Online Education
  • Learning Assessment Committee
• Professional Learning & Development Committee

We encourage all faculty to participate on a variety of shared governance opportunities on campus to support distance education and online learning at Pasadena City College, such as the:

• Curriculum & Instruction Committee
• Professional Learning & Development Committee
• The PCC Faculty Association
